So did Tennessee where I live. We took over the state government as well.
Republicans in Tuesday’s elections won a slender 50-49 member majority in the 99-member House, their first outright majority since Civil War Reconstruction days. In the Senate, Republicans, who before the election had operational control in a divided 33-member chamber, achieved a 19-14 majority.
I'm proud to be a Tennessean. Our present governor will probably resign and join Obama's team. This will leave us with a Republican lieutenant governor until we elect one in 2010.

I think I am moving to Tennessee or Oklahoma then... even my Republican county voted Obama. This is quite the madness. How about all those babies named Barak in the last few days. Oy va voy!
