Separation of Unbelievers at the End of the Age

Jesus taught this truth in Matt 13.

40 "So just as the tares are gathered up and burned with fire, so shall it be at the end of the age.
41 "The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness,
42 and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
43 "Then THE RIGHTEOUS WILL SHINE FORTH AS THE SUN in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.
44 "The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in the field, which a man found and hid again; and from joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.
45 "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking fine pearls,
46 and upon finding one pearl of great value, he went and sold all that he had and bought it.
47 "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet cast into the sea, and gathering fish of every kind;
48 and when it was filled, they drew it up on the beach; and they sat down and gathered the good fish into containers, but the bad they threw away.
49 "So it will be at the end of the age; the angels will come forth and take out the wicked from among the righteous,
50 and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
51 "Have you understood all these things?" They said to Him, "Yes."

My questions to those who believe the righteous are taken out first at the end of the age are these:

(1) Why did Jesus reveal the unrighteous would be taken out first at the end of the age from among the righteous?

(2) Why do we rely on the unclear teachings of other NT authors to base our belief in a rapture where the righteous are taken out first, while discounting the clear teaching of Jesus who reveals otherwise?

Points like this are one reason that I am not dogmatic in any discussion regarding when the bride of Messiah is taken- before or after. While the Scriptures indicate in many places that the Bride will not see wrath (and the events for the end surely would qualify as wrath), and that we will meet him in the clouds and that he will come on a white horse in victory later to the earth, there are teachings such as this. I can't be dogmatic.


The way I look at it, either way it can't be long. The days of Noach sure do seem to be here- people marrying and giving in marriage -aka doing their own thing without any regard for G-d. Sodom and Gomorrah also seems to be here with not enough righteous G-d fearing people to keep the likes of many politions out of office.

I am a firm believer in letting the "whole counsel of God's Word" determine how and what we believe on a given matter, on matters essential to God's salvation in Christ Jesus, and on matters that are not.

On matters that are not essential to God's salvation in Christ Jesus, I believe in allowing liberty, but not when it conflicts with the clear teaching of the "whole counsel of God's Word."

It's best to just say "we know in part" (1 Cor 13:9), and wait for words that "are concealed and sealed up until the end time" (Dan 12:9) to be clearly revealed.

I have been sounding the alarm through the mouths of My prophets. They have heard ME tell of My intentions to come in months past. And, I have been ready! I WILL MARRY NONE, WHO DO NOT PUT ME FIRST, KEEP ME FIRST AND LOVE ME ABOVE ALL, CHERISHING MY COMMANDMENTS AND OBEYING THEM ALL.

REPENT, OH, YOU BRIDE OF MINE! I WILL COME FOR A CLEAN BRIDE! AND, BE WARNED, THAT I COME VERY SOON AND BE WARNED ALSO THAT AT THIS TIME, AND FROM MY VANTAGEPOINT, SAVE MANY OF YOU GET CLEAN AND QUICKLY SO, I WILL TAKE AT THIS TIME FEW INDEED!
