Our Relationship with the Lord
is like a dance...oh, not at first.
At first, it's more like Him carrying us!
We fall so in love with this Wonderful One
Who gave Himself up for us so we might live....
and He carries us.
But then, we need to learn to walk and although the times might get hard, He is always there, teaching us the steps and we learn to walk....

and as we hold on to Him, He starts a rhythm...slowly, almost imperceivably, He gently guides and leads us onto His great dance floor. We learn to follow His lead as we learn His love steps and His ways of doing things, and we start to glide. We surrender fully to His moves, humbling ourselves before Him, grateful for His love, mercy, grace and concern for us.

Sometimes the tempo speeds up and we wonder if He knows what He's doing, thinking "I don't know THAT step" but His Grace makes us understand this is necessary and so we follow along, just having faith that indeed He DOES (and always will) know what He is doing and we move along with Him in His great dance steps thru this life, anticipating a forever dance that we will know how to dance the rest of our eternal lives.

Other relationships are like a dance also. Some of His own, our brothers and sisters, know this dance well and are so very enjoyable to dance with but then there are others who have refused His steps and have no idea how to dance....these we must be patient with as we remember we did not always know how to dance this great dance ourselves at one time. Love and patience will fill in the missteps very easily.

But what about the religious people, those who THINK they know the dance but don't and after stepping on your toes (or tripping over their OWN feet) want to blame YOU for the way they dance (or better said: can't dance) There again: Love and patience will out and our forgiveness and prayers for them will allow the Lord Himself
to get their relationship going,
just as ours and Jesus' got started.

We love Him because He first loved us!
Glory to God....you'll have to excuse me beloved, my Jesus is asking for this dance.

God bless you mightily,
