A question has come up: Will those martyred for Yeshua receive anything special - say, extra crowns to cast before His feet? The only answer I could think of is that they wait beneath the altar waiting for the rest to join them.
I think the question came up because the Muslims believe that martyrs believe that martyrs receive 72 virgins.
Thanks for any additional insight.

What More reward than to have eternal life ? Is there anything greater than that ? Rev. 2;10 Who cares about crowns or medals, I just want to look upon his face for eternity, that is the reward I want.LOL

Sounds good to me-- Oh that will be glory for me, glory for me, glory for me-- when by his grace I shall look on his face.... that will be glory-- be glory for me.
Todah rabah-- I didn't think there was anything else.

Rev 22:12 "Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done.
There may not be a special reward for being a martyr, but Jesus declares there will be rewards based on how faithful we have been to what He has asked us to do.

5 crowns we will receive.
1-Crown of Righteousness 2 Tim. 4:8 To all who have kept the faith and longed and loved for His return 2-Crown of Rejoicing 1Thes. 2:19 To all who have helped bring others to Christ 3-Crown of Life James 1:12 To all who endure temptation & are faithful through trials and to those that love Him 4-Crown of glory 1 Peter 5:1-4 To all that serve and shepherd God’s people 5-The imperishable or eternal crown 1 Cor. 9:25 To those who have had self-control in all things and subdued the old sinful nature. These crowns are going to be cast down at Jesus’ feet, to the one that is worthy to be praised. He is the one that made all these things possible. Rev 4:9-11. Praise Abba!

The parable Jesus told in Matt 25 seems to indicate that those who are faithful with the talents we are given will be put in charge of many more things as we enter into the joy of the Lord (Matt 25:21).
Are we to believe that this only applies to the here and now, and not to eternity?

Under the Law all rewards were for the here and now. After Messiah all rewards are for the Kingdom and beyond. Amen !!! 1 Cor 3:11 For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if any man builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, 13 each man's work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each man's work. 14 If any man's work which he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward. 15 If any man's work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire. Blessings
