LOL , it pays to clear the chometz of junk from one's work area- I found my matzoh recipe and in time for the holiday! Angelina deLeon was found in possession of this recipe when the church inspectors came to her home during the Spanish Inquisition. Naturally, it was enough to convict her of being a Converso. We don't know exactly what happened to this noble lady but we do have her recipe for matzoh that doesn't taste like pizza cardboard. Enjoy and chag sameach! Sephardic Matzoh Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees. Mix together: 4 cups meal or flour (flour makes a nice texture but depending on one's scrupples may not qualify for use) and 1Tbl black pepper. Add and mix in: 4 large eggs, beaten 6 Tbl honey 4 tsp olive oil 8 Tbl water Quickly form the dough into 12 balls, rolling each into an 8" disc using a treated rolling pin. Pierce each through with a fork in several places and place on a cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes. To be fully proper, you have 17-18 minutes from mixing to baking/finish for each matzoh.
